On Foot...
Chester Cathedral is in the heart of Chester on St Werburgh Street, which links Eastgate Street and Northgate Street. The Cathedral is just inside the City walls from Frodsham Street and is a short walk from any part of the city.

By Bicycle...
There are several bicycle racks provided by the local council on Northgate Street. Cycle routes and information are available online at www.cyclechester.com

By Car...
There are several public car parks nearby. Currently the Princess Street and Gorse Stacks car parks are free after 3.00pm. Only disabled badge holders are allowed through the barrier on Northgate street onto St Werburgh Street.
Disabled parking is available in St Werburgh Street and in the Kale Yard car park on Frodsham Street, where there is also a motobility office.

By Bus...
All buses to Chester, including the "Park and Ride" services, stop within 5 minutes walking distance from the Cathedral. Click here for 'Park and Ride' information.

By Train...
The Cathedral is a 15-20 minute walk from Chester Railway Station - walk straight out of the station on City Road and down the steps once you cross the canal; turn right and follow the canal towards the city centre.
