The Press Office is responsible for all press and media within Chester Cathedral. We welcome press visits and are happy to arrange tours for accredited journalists writing or researching stories related to Chester Cathedral.

The Press Office will do their best to accommodate photographers and TV cameras at special events inside the Cathedral, so prior notice from media wishing to attend is appreciated wherever possible.

There is no charge for personal photography or video recordings; however, any images intended for publication or commercial use can only be used with prior written consent and a fee may be payable.

It is essential to arrange suitable times for filming in order not to conflict with Cathedral activities and to ensure compliance with appropriate privacy and copyright regulations.
